Change
The pace of change is quickening, so it is said. Or is it that short termism means we are more reactive to issues and situations. Individuals and organisations evolve over time, the more we manage strategically over the long term the more likely evolution will be calm. The more short term the focus we are reactive and thus change is more abrupt and potentially traumatic.
